Ingredients
-
3 ripe bananas, mashed
 -
½ cup unsweetened applesauce – Keeps it moist without extra fat
 -
½ cup granulated sugar
 -
½ cup brown sugar, packed – Adds a deep, caramel-like flavor
 -
½ cup creamy peanut butter – For that rich, nutty swirl
 -
2 large eggs
 -
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 -
1 teaspoon baking soda
 -
½ teaspoon baking powder
 -
½ teaspoon salt
 -
1½ cups all-purpose flour

-
1 cup Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, chopped – The star of the show!

Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
 -
In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas. Stir in the applesauce, granulated sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, eggs, and vanilla.
 -
Sprinkle in the baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix until combined.
 -
Gently fold in the flour until just incorporated—don’t overmix!
 -
Stir in the chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
 -
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
 -
Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean (a few moist crumbs are okay!).
 -
Cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

-
Slice, serve, and savor every peanut buttery bite!

Notes
-
Want extra peanut butter goodness? Drizzle melted peanut butter over the top after baking!
 -
Don’t skip the applesauce—it keeps things super moist without added oil or butter.

-
This bread keeps well! Wrap tightly and store at room temp for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week.
