- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken in olive oil, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
- Prepare the breading by mixing breadcrumbs, half of the Parmesan, and Italian seasoning in one bowl, and whisking eggs and milk in another bowl.
- Coat the chicken in flour, then dip in the egg mixture, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the breaded chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Mix the remaining Parmesan cheese with shredded mozzarella and minced garlic to create the cheesy topping.
- Top the cooked chicken with the cheese mixture and bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
