It’s a delightful twist on the classic tater tot, transforming them into a fun and shareable treat. Imagine crispy, golden tater tots, perfectly skewered and topped with gooey cheese, crispy bacon, and fresh green onions. It’s like a party on a stick!


Ingredients

  • 48 frozen tater tots
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices of bacon, finely chopped
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Sour cream, to taste
  • Jalapeños, sliced (optional)
  • Ranch seasoning or taco seasoning (optional)
  • Guacamole (optional)
  • Chopped tomatoes or avocado (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Assemble the skewers by threading 4 to 6 tater tots onto each skewer.
  3. Place the skewers on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for about 28 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. Sprinkle cheddar cheese, bacon, and green onions on top of the baked tater tots.
  5. Return the skewers to the oven for an additional 5 to 7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  • Don’t overcrowd the skewers for even cooking.
  • Watch the cheese to prevent burning.
