As a busy mom, I know how precious time can be, especially when it comes to dinner. That’s why I absolutely love these Garlic Herb Steak and Shrimp Foil Packets! They’re not just easy to make; they’re a delightful way to bring the family together around the table.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into cubes
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the steak cubes and shrimp. Add minced garlic, oregano, thyme, paprika, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss everything until well-coated.
  3. Tear off large pieces of aluminum foil and place an equal portion of the steak and shrimp mixture in the center of each piece.
  4. Fold the foil over the mixture, sealing it tightly to create packets.
  5. Place the foil packets on the grill or in the oven and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness and the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  6. Carefully open the packets (steam will escape) and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

  • Adjust the seasoning according to your taste.
  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes.
  • These packets can also be cooked in the oven if a grill is not available.
