Description
As a busy mom, I know how precious time can be, especially when it comes to dinner. That’s why I absolutely love these Garlic Herb Steak and Shrimp Foil Packets! They’re not just easy to make; they’re a delightful way to bring the family together around the table.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into cubes
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the steak cubes and shrimp. Add minced garlic, oregano, thyme, paprika, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss everything until well-coated.
- Tear off large pieces of aluminum foil and place an equal portion of the steak and shrimp mixture in the center of each piece.
- Fold the foil over the mixture, sealing it tightly to create packets.
- Place the foil packets on the grill or in the oven and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness and the shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Carefully open the packets (steam will escape) and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
- Adjust the seasoning according to your taste.
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes.
- These packets can also be cooked in the oven if a grill is not available.
