Description

This Funfetti Cookie Dough Swirl Roll is a dreamy mashup of chewy cookie dough, melty chocolate, colorful mini M&Ms, and a rich chocolate swirl. Perfect for parties, celebrations, or anytime you need a little extra sweetness in your day!


Ingredients

  • 1 package (approx. 473g) pre-made chocolate chip cookie dough

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided

  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • ⅓ cup mini M&Ms (candy-coated chocolate minis)

  • Powdered sugar, for dusting


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Roll out the cookie dough into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, heat ½ cup chocolate chips and heavy cream together in 20-second bursts, stirring until smooth to create a ganache.

  • Spread the ganache evenly over the rolled-out cookie dough.

  • Sprinkle mini M&Ms over the ganache.

  • Carefully roll the dough into a tight log, starting from the short end.

  • In a small bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  • Brush the roll lightly with the butter mixture.

  • Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden around the edges.

  • Melt the remaining ½ cup chocolate chips and drizzle over the warm roll.

 

  • Dust with powdered sugar, slice, and serve!

Notes

  • Chill the dough for 10–15 minutes before rolling if it gets too soft.

  • Swap mini M&Ms with sprinkles or chopped candy bars for extra fun!
