Description

Indulge in the rich, creamy, holiday-inspired flavor of Eggnog Fudge! This decadent treat blends the classic taste of eggnog with a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture. Perfect for gifting or enjoying during the festive season, it’s a delightful addition to any holiday dessert table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup eggnog
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg (plus more for garnish)
  • 1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow crème
  • 1 package (12 oz) white chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Prep: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, allowing some to hang over the edges for easy removal.
  • Heat mixture: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, butter, and eggnog. Stir continuously until the butter melts and the mixture reaches a boil.
  • Boil: Once boiling, stop stirring and allow the mixture to boil for 4-5 minutes, or until it reaches 234°F (use a candy thermometer).
  • Add ingredients: Remove from heat and immediately stir in marshmallow crème and white chocolate chips. Mix until fully melted and smooth.
  • Flavor: Stir in vanilla extract and nutmeg.
  • Pour: Quickly pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Set and garnish: Let the fudge cool at room temperature for at least 4 hours or until firm. Sprinkle with additional nutmeg for a festive touch.
  • Serve: Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment paper and cut into small squares. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Ensure that the mixture reaches the right temperature to achieve the perfect fudge consistency.
