- 4 slices of bread (your choice of bread)
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 slices of cooked bacon
- 4 eggs
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: sliced avocado, tomato, or spinach
Instructions
- Prepare Bacon and Eggs:
- Cook bacon slices in a skillet until crispy. Set aside on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.
- In the same skillet, cook eggs to your preference (fried, scrambled, or sunny-side-up). Season with salt and pepper.
- Assemble Sandwiches:
- Lay out 4 slices of bread. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each slice.
- Top each cheese slice with a cooked egg, a slice of bacon, and any optional ingredients like avocado, tomato, or spinach.
- Place another slice of bread on top to form sandwiches.
- Grill the Sandwiches:
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Add butter and let it melt.
- Place sandwiches in the skillet and cook until golden brown and crispy on one side, about 2-3 minutes.
- Flip the sandwiches and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve:
- Remove sandwiches from the skillet and let them cool for a minute before slicing.
