Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Set oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until creamy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time to the butter mixture, beating well after each addition, then blend in vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet mixture, mixing thoroughly but without overbeating.
  6. Fold in semi-sweet and white chocolate chips evenly into the dough.
  7. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets, spacing evenly. Optionally, sprinkle with coarse sugar or edible glitter.
  8. Bake in preheated oven for 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
