Description

A delightful and flavorful Warm Pear Prosciutto Feta Salad topped with toasted nuts and a sweet dressing.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 firm pears, cored and sliced
  • 4 slices of prosciutto
  • 4 cups mixed greens
  • 2 oz crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/4 cup toasted pecans or walnuts

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced pears and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until slightly softened and caramelized. Remove from the skillet.
  2. Add the prosciutto to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until crispy.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and honey to create the dressing.
  4. In a large salad bowl, combine the mixed greens, warm pears, crumbled feta, and toasted nuts. Crumble the crispy prosciutto over the top.
  5. Drizzle with the dressing and serve immediately.
