Description

Sweet Jalapeno Pork is a flavorful dish that combines tender pork with a sweet and spicy glaze made from jalapenos, honey, and soy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork tenderloin, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapenos (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the pork pieces and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and diced jalapenos. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and lime juice. Stir to combine, bringing the sauce to a simmer for 3-4 minutes until it thickens.
  5. Return the cooked pork to the skillet and toss to coat in the jalapeno glaze. Let it simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.

  • For a spicier dish, keep the seeds in the jalapenos.
