Description

Let me tell you about a little culinary gem that has completely won my heart: Strawberry Crunch Cheesecake Tacos. Picture this—taco shells filled with a luscious cheesecake mixture, topped with a delightful strawberry crunch. It’s like the best of both worlds is wrapped up into one delicious treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 small flour tortillas
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 cup strawberry crunch crumble (see below)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 15 Golden Oreos, crushed
  • 3 tbsp freeze-dried strawberries, crushed
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • Fresh strawberries, sliced (for garnish)
  • Strawberry sauce (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine crushed Golden Oreos, crushed freeze-dried strawberries, and melted butter to make the strawberry crunch crumble. Mix until the crumble sticks together. Set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
  3. Carefully fry each tortilla until golden brown and crispy, shaping them into a taco shell as they fry.
  4. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
  5. While still warm, coat each taco shell in the strawberry crunch crumble by pressing the crumble onto the shells.
  6. In a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  7. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  8. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until smooth and creamy.
  9. Pipe the cheesecake filling into each prepared taco shell.
  10. Top with fresh strawberry slices and a drizzle of strawberry sauce (if using).
  11. Serve immediately and enjoy these deliciously crunchy, creamy strawberry cheesecake tacos!

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of powdered sugar based on your desired sweetness.
  • You can substitute other fruits for the topping if desired.
  • Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying to ensure crispy taco shells.
