Ingredients
- 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 8 ounces cooked noodles
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Sliced green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Prep all ingredients – thinly slice the beef sirloin, mince the garlic, slice the onion and red bell pepper, cook the noodles according to package instructions.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced beef sirloin and cook until browned, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sliced onion, sauté until fragrant and softened.
- Add the sliced red bell pepper and cook for another 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, Gochujang, sesame oil, and rice vinegar.
- Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet with the vegetables, stir to combine.
- Add the cooked beef sirloin back into the skillet, toss to coat everything in the sauce.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, toss well to combine and coat the noodles in the sauce.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
- Serve hot and enjoy your Spicy Korean Gochujang Beef Noodles!

- Adjust the level of Gochujang to taste for desired spiciness.
