  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Spice Marinade: Combine olive oil, cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, black pepper, salt, minced garlic, and lemon juice in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Add chicken to the spice mixture and coat evenly. Allow to marinate for a minimum of 15 minutes, extending up to 2 hours for enhanced flavor development.
  3. Sear the Chicken: Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook marinated chicken for 5 to 7 minutes per side until fully cooked with light charring. Rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly.
  4. Assemble the Salad Base: Combine cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, salad greens, and fresh parsley in a large bowl.
