A delightful Southern Style Blueberry Cobbler, perfect for dessert lovers!

- 3 cups fresh blueberries
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 1 cup white sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup whole milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ground cinnamon, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the melted butter into the bottom of a 7×11-inch baking dish and place it in the oven until fully melted.
- In a large bowl, add the blueberries and ½ cup to 1 cup of white sugar. Toss until the blueberries are evenly coated in sugar and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, combine self-rising flour, ½ cup white sugar, brown sugar, whole milk, and vanilla extract. Whisk together until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps.
- Remove the casserole dish from the oven. Pour the flour mixture over the melted butter, then gently spoon the sugared blueberries on top. Do not stir. Sprinkle a light amount of ground cinnamon over the top.
- Bake the dish at 350°F (175°C) for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- Allow the cobbler to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm, optionally served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Notes
- For added flavor, serve with vanilla ice cream.
- Adjust the sugar based on the sweetness of the blueberries.
- Can be stored in the refrigerator for a few days.
