- 4 slices ciabatta bread
- 1 apple, thinly sliced
- 4 slices smoked Gouda cheese
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Instructions
- Spread unsalted butter evenly on one side of each slice of ciabatta bread.
- On the unbuttered side of two bread slices, layer smoked Gouda cheese and apple slices. Drizzle with honey. Top with remaining bread, buttered side out.
- Heat a panini press or skillet over medium heat. Grill the sandwiches until the bread is golden and crisp, and the cheese is fully melted, about 3–4 minutes per side.
