Description
A delicious breakfast treat made with pizza dough filled with sausage, eggs, and cheese, baked to golden perfection.
Ingredients

- 1 tube (10 oz) of store-bought pizza dough, chilled
- 1 cup of cheddar cheese, shredded
- 12 oz of cooked, crumbled breakfast sausage
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup of chopped red bell pepper
- 1/2 tsp of ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp of milk
- 2 tbsp of melted butter
Instructions
- Set your oven to 350°F. Place parchment paper on a baking pan.
- Roll the pizza dough onto the prepared parchment and gently shape it into a rectangle.
- Spread the crumbled sausages along the middle section of the dough.
- Whisk the eggs, milk, chopped red pepper, and black pepper together in a bowl.
- Cook the egg mixture in a heated skillet, stirring until scrambled and done.
- Layer the scrambled eggs over the sausage, then sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
- Cut 12-15 strips along each side of the dough using a pizza cutter.
- Cross the strips over the center filling, alternating sides as you go.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until it looks golden brown on the outside.
- Before serving, brush the top with melted butter while it’s still warm.
Notes
- Feel free to add additional vegetables or spices to customize the filling.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
- Reheat in the oven for the best texture.
