Instructions
- Prepare Matcha Base: In a small bowl, vigorously whisk matcha powder with hot water until completely dissolved and a fine froth forms.
- Warm Milk Mixture: Heat milk in a saucepan over medium flame until steaming but not boiling. Incorporate honey or maple syrup and vanilla extract, stirring until fully blended.
- Combine Matcha and Milk: Divide matcha mixture between two mugs.
- Layer and Finish: Gently pour warmed milk over the matcha base, withholding foam with a spoon. Spoon the remaining foam atop each cup.
- Festive Garnishing: Adorn each latte with whipped cream, sprinkles, and a touch of edible glitter or food coloring if desired. Serve immediately.
