Description

As a passionate home cook, I find joy in creating dishes that not only tantalize the taste buds but also bring a smile to the faces of my loved ones. One of my favorite culinary adventures has been experimenting with flavors that dance together in harmony. That’s how I stumbled upon the delightful combination of sweet pineapple and savory kielbasa. The moment I took my first bite of Pineapple Hasselback Kielbasa Bites, I knew I had discovered something special.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 rings (13.9 ounces each) Kielbasa
  • 1 can (20 ounces) pineapple chunks, drained (reserve ½ cup juice)
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • Parsley, chopped for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice the kielbasa into ¼-inch slices, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  2. Prepare the pineapple by draining the chunks and reserving ½ cup of the juice.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the kielbasa slices and pineapple chunks.
  4. Arrange the mixture in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook at 400°F for 7-9 minutes, shaking halfway through.

Notes

  • Use chopsticks or skewers to help slice the kielbasa without cutting all the way through.
  • Adjust the sweetness of the sauce to your preference.
  • Let the bites rest for a minute after cooking before serving.
