- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup whole milk

- 1 cup diced peaches
- 1 cup diced peaches
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare Dough: In a large bowl, mix 1 cup of flour, sugar, and yeast. In a saucepan, heat milk and butter until warm. Add to dry ingredients, then add eggs and salt. Gradually add remaining flour to form a soft dough. Knead until smooth, then let rise until doubled.
- Make Filling: Combine softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Roll out dough into a rectangle, spread filling evenly, and sprinkle with diced peaches. Roll up tightly and cut into 12 slices.
- Bake Rolls: Place the slices in a greased baking dish. Let rise until doubled, then bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare Topping: In a saucepan, combine diced peaches, brown sugar, butter, heavy cream, and vanilla extract. Cook until thickened. Pour over the baked rolls.
- Add Icing: Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Drizzle over the warm rolls.
Notes
- Make sure the milk is warm, not hot, to activate the yeast.
- Let the rolls rise in a warm place for best results.
- Use fresh peaches for the best flavor, but canned peaches can be used in a pinch.
