Description

Peach Cobbler Cinnamon Rolls are a delightful combination of sweet peaches and cinnamon rolls, topped with a rich peach syrup and creamy icing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup diced peaches
  • 1 cup diced peaches
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare Dough: In a large bowl, mix 1 cup of flour, sugar, and yeast. In a saucepan, heat milk and butter until warm. Add to dry ingredients, then add eggs and salt. Gradually add remaining flour to form a soft dough. Knead until smooth, then let rise until doubled.
  2. Make Filling: Combine softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Roll out dough into a rectangle, spread filling evenly, and sprinkle with diced peaches. Roll up tightly and cut into 12 slices.
  3. Bake Rolls: Place the slices in a greased baking dish. Let rise until doubled, then bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Prepare Topping: In a saucepan, combine diced peaches, brown sugar, butter, heavy cream, and vanilla extract. Cook until thickened. Pour over the baked rolls.
  5. Add Icing: Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Drizzle over the warm rolls.

Notes

  • Make sure the milk is warm, not hot, to activate the yeast.
  • Let the rolls rise in a warm place for best results.
  • Use fresh peaches for the best flavor, but canned peaches can be used in a pinch.
