Description

A delicious lasagna combining savory beef, crispy bacon, and creamy ranch sauce with layers of cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 450 g ground beef
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 480 ml marinara sauce
  • 240 ml ranch dressing
  • 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 6 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled (approx. 60 g)
  • 9 lasagna noodles, cooked
  • 250375 g shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until aromatic. Drain any excess fat from the pan.
  2. Stir marinara sauce into the beef and garlic. Simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes to blend flavours.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together ranch dressing, grated Parmesan cheese, and crumbled bacon until the mixture is smooth and cohesive.
  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Arrange a layer of cooked lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  6. Evenly distribute a portion of the meat sauce on top of the noodles, followed by several spoonfuls of bacon ranch mixture.
  7. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  8. Repeat the layering process, finishing with a layer of mozzarella cheese on top.
  9. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 30 minutes.
  10. Uncover and continue baking for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbling.
  11. Allow the lasagna to rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add Italian herbs to the meat sauce.
  • Let the lasagna sit for a bit longer if you prefer a firmer slice.
