Description
A delicious recipe for oven-baked dumplings served with a creamy peanut sauce and topped with fresh garnishes.
Ingredients
Scale
- ¼ cup sliced green onions
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2–4 tablespoons chili crisp (optional, for spice)
- 2 cups broth or water
- ⅔ cup creamy peanut butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
- 14–20 frozen dumplings (depending on dish size)
- 2 cups broccoli florets, trimmed into small pieces
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a medium casserole dish or oven-safe braiser.
- Pour the broth into the baking dish and add peanut butter, minced garlic, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Whisk until mostly smooth.
- Place the frozen dumplings flat-side down into the sauce and spoon some sauce over each dumpling to coat them.
- Arrange the broccoli florets around the dumplings, ensuring they are partially covered by the sauce.
- Cover the dish with a lid or foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove the cover and stir the sauce gently. Let sit uncovered for 5 minutes to thicken slightly.
- Sprinkle with green onions, cilantro, sesame seeds, and chili crisp, if desired.
- Serve directly from the baking dish and enjoy.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of chili crisp based on your spice preference.
- Ensure dumplings are frozen before placing them in the dish for even baking.
- Feel free to substitute vegetables according to your preferences.
