Description

Delicious Oreo Cinnamon Rolls filled with crushed Oreos and topped with cream cheese frosting.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup whole milk (warmed)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs
  • For the Filling:
  • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 12 tbsp milk (to adjust consistency)

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk, activate the yeast, and mix with dry ingredients.
  2. Knead until smooth, then let it rise until doubled in size.
  3. Mix crushed Oreos, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
  4. Roll into a rectangle and spread the filling evenly.
  5. Roll into a log and cut into 12 pieces.
  6. Let the rolls rise again for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
  8. Beat together cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk.
  9. Drizzle frosting over warm rolls and enjoy!

  • Make sure the milk is warmed, not hot, to avoid killing the yeast.
  • Adjust the frosting consistency with milk for desired texture.
