Description
Delightfully easy Orange Truffles made with orange cake mix and cream cheese, covered in candy melts and almond bark.

- 15.25 ounce orange cake mix (I used Duncan Hines Perfectly Moist brand)
- 8 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
- 12 ounces orange candy melts
- 4 ounces white vanilla almond bark
Instructions
- Heat treat the dry cake mix in a microwave for two 30-second intervals, stirring after each. Let it cool.
- Beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Mix the cooled cake mix with the cream cheese until fully incorporated.
- Cover the mixture tightly and chill for 2 hours.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Scoop the cheesecake dough into 1 tablespoon portions, roll into balls, and place on the baking sheet.
- Melt the candy wafers in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Roll the cheesecake balls in the melted candy wafers and place on a fork to tap off excess.
- Return coated bites to the baking sheet.
- Melt the white almond bark in a small bowl using 30-second intervals.
- Drizzle melted almond bark over the coated cheesecake bites.
- Chill the bites in the refrigerator until serving.
Notes
- Ensure that the cake mix is completely cool before mixing with cream cheese.
- Use a toothpick to help remove excess coating from the bottom of the fork.
- Keep truffles refrigerated until ready to serve for best texture.
