Description

A delightful cake made with orange soda pop for a unique flavor and texture.


Ingredients

  • 16.25-ounce box white cake mix
  • 12-ounce can orange soda pop
  • 8-ounce tub whipped topping, thawed
  • Orange zest for garnish (optional)
  • Mandarin oranges for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, mix the cake mix with the can of orange soda pop until the batter is smooth and well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool completely. Frost with the whipped topping.
