Description

Mini Pumpkin Pecan Hand Pies are delightful bites filled with a sweet and spiced pumpkin mixture and topped with a maple glaze, perfect for fall festivities.


Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated pie crust
  • 1 cup pumpkin purée
  • ½ cup pecans, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice
  • 1 egg mixed with a splash of milk
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.
  2. Cut the pie crust into circles approximately 8 cm in diameter. Place a spoonful of pumpkin purée mixed with brown sugar, pumpkin spice, and chopped pecans onto each circle.
  3. Fold the dough circles over the filling, seal the edges, and brush with the egg wash mixture.
  4. Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Mix powdered sugar and maple syrup to make the glaze. Once the pies are cooled, drizzle the glaze on top.

Notes

  • These hand pies can be made ahead of time and stored in an airtight container.
