Description

Delicious waffles topped with a creamy maple pecan spread, perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup toasted pecans, chopped
  • 2 thick Belgian-style waffles (store-bought or homemade)
  • Whipped cream
  • 1 tbsp sugar + 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (for cinnamon sugar)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, blend cream cheese, maple syrup, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in half the pecans.
  2. Heat waffles until golden and crisp — toaster or oven both work.
  3. Spread the maple cream cheese mixture generously over warm waffles. Sprinkle the rest of the pecans on top.
  4. Add a dollop of whipped cream and finish with a pinch of cinnamon sugar.

Notes

  • Best served warm for optimal flavor.
