Instructions

- Gently fold the sifted dry ingredients into the whipped egg whites.
- Transfer the batter to a piping bag and pipe circles onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Allow the macarons to rest at room temperature for 30-45 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C) and bake the macarons for 14-16 minutes.
- In a saucepan, combine raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice; cook until thickened, strain, and let cool.
- Beat the softened butter and gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla to make buttercream.
- Fold the cooled raspberry mixture into the buttercream.
- Assemble the macarons by pairing shells and piping raspberry buttercream between them.
- Let assembled macarons rest in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours before serving.
