A quick and delicious meal featuring smoked sausage and rice, perfect for a busy weeknight.
Ingredients

			- 2 cups water
 - ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
 - ½ teaspoon paprika
 - 1 teaspoon dried minced onions
 - 2 cups instant rice
 - ½ teaspoon sea salt
 - 1 pound smoked sausage
 - 1 cup frozen peas
 - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
 
Instructions
- Cut the sausage into chunky pieces around ½ inch thick and brown them in a big pan over medium heat.
 - Add all the other ingredients and mix well. Bring to a bubble over medium-high heat.
 - Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let it simmer. Stir occasionally until the rice is soft and most of the liquid has evaporated.
 
Notes
- This recipe is great for meal prep.
 - You can substitute the smoked sausage with other cooked sausages as desired.
 - Add more vegetables to increase nutrition.
