Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Parsley, to garnish
  • For the Gravy:
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, almond flour, egg, heavy cream, allspice, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into small meatballs.
  2. In a skillet, cook the meatballs over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter and stir in the heavy cream, beef broth, and Dijon mustard. Cook until the sauce thickens.
  4. Return the meatballs to the skillet and coat them in the gravy. Simmer for a few minutes before serving, garnished with parsley.

Notes

  • For a spicier flavor, add more allspice or nutmeg.
  • Serve with a side of low-carb vegetables for a complete meal.
