- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup jalapeños, diced (fresh or pickled)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle.
- Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling.
- Place the rolled crescent bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, you can add more jalapeños or use spicy cheese.
- These bites can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
