Description

This Hot Fudge Pie is a rich, gooey, chocolate lover’s dream! Made with simple pantry ingredients, it bakes into a brownie-meets-molten-cake masterpiece with a slightly crisp top and a fudgy, warm center. Serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the ultimate indulgence.


Ingredients

  • 1 stick (½ cup) butter, softened

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.

  2. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla.

  4. Add cocoa powder and salt; mix until well combined.

  5. Stir in the flour just until incorporated—do not overmix.

  6. Pour batter into the prepared pie dish and smooth the top.

  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is set and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out slightly fudgy.

  8. Let cool slightly before serving. Best enjoyed warm with ice cream!
