Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mixed fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • 2 tablespoons granola (gluten-free if needed)
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 tablespoon cacao nibs (optional)
  • 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries (thawed)
  • 1 small ripe banana (sliced)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  2. Combine thawed mixed berries and banana in a blender. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth.
  3. Spoon half of the yogurt base evenly into two clean jars.
  4. Distribute a layer of the fruit purée over the yogurt in each jar.
  5. Sprinkle half the fresh berries, chia seeds, hemp seeds, and pomegranate seeds (if using) over the fruit purée layer.
  6. Add another layer with the remaining yogurt mixture, followed by the rest of the fruit purée and superfood toppings.
  7. Top each jar with granola, shredded coconut, and cacao nibs as desired.
  8. Serve immediately for a crunchy texture, or cover and refrigerate for up to four hours for a softer consistency.
