A delicious and healthy Greek Turkey Burger topped with homemade Tzatziki sauce for a flavorful twist.
Ingredients

- 1½ lbs (680 g) ground turkey (93% lean)
- ¼ cup red onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
- ½ cup Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup cucumber, finely grated and drained
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- Salt, to taste
- 4 whole wheat or brioche burger buns, toasted
- 1 cup arugula or baby spinach
- 1 tomato, sliced
- ¼ red onion, thinly sliced
- Optional: crumbled feta cheese
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine yogurt, cucumber, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, dill, and salt. Mix well and refrigerate.
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, red onion, parsley, dill, garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix gently and form into 4 equal patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook turkey patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Lightly toast buns in a skillet or oven.
- Spread tzatziki on both bun halves. Add arugula, turkey patty, tomato, red onion, and feta if using. Close with the top bun and serve.
