Description

Feta Cranberry Swirls Pastry brings irresistible flavor excitement!


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 200 g feta cheese, crumbled
  • 120 g mozzarella, grated
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried mint or oregano
  • 1 egg, separated
  • 1 teaspoon milk
  • Sesame seeds, for topping
  • Honey, for drizzling
  • Cranberry sauce, for serving
  • Rosemary, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix crumbled feta, grated mozzarella, dried mint or oregano, and the egg white until well combined.
  3. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the top half of the puff pastry sheet. Fold the pastry in half to enclose the filling and gently press to seal.
  4. Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut the folded pastry into strips approximately 1 cm wide. Twist each strip and roll into a spiral shape.
  5. Combine the egg yolk with 1 teaspoon of milk, then brush over the swirls. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  6. Arrange the swirls on the prepared tray and bake for 28–32 minutes on the lower rack until dark golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly. Serve swirls drizzled with honey, accompanied by cranberry sauce and garnished with rosemary.
