Description

Deep Dish Pizza Cupcakes are a fun and unique take on traditional pizza, baked in individual muffin cups for easy serving and a delightful twist on pizza night.


Ingredients

  • 230 grams refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 120 milliliters pizza sauce
  • 110 grams shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 grams garlic powder
  • Pepperoni slices
  • Diced ham
  • Cooked sausage, crumbled
  • Chopped bell peppers
  • Chopped onions
  • Sliced mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C. Lightly grease 8 standard muffin cups with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Slice crescent roll dough into 8 even squares. Gently shape and press each square into the prepared muffin cups, ensuring the base and sides are covered.
  3. Sprinkle approximately 14 grams of mozzarella cheese into the bottom of each dough-lined cup. Spoon 15 milliliters of pizza sauce over the cheese layer.
  4. Distribute remaining mozzarella cheese evenly across the cups. Layer with selected toppings such as pepperoni, ham, sausage, peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Evenly dust each cupcake with garlic powder.
  5. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, until the crust is golden and cheese is melted and bubbling. Remove from oven, loosen edges with a small knife, and serve hot.
