  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
  • Powdered sugar (optional)
  • Chocolate syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a 10×15-inch jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla extract and mix well. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. In a bowl, beat the peanut butter, powdered sugar, butter, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  6. Once the cake is done, immediately turn it out onto a clean kitchen towel dusted with powdered sugar. Gently roll the cake up in the towel and let it cool completely.
  7. Unroll the cake and spread the peanut butter filling evenly over the top. Sprinkle the chocolate chips and chopped peanuts over the filling. Gently roll the cake back up, using the towel to help.
  8. Garnish the cake roll with powdered sugar and chocolate syrup, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
