Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth and well combined.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt until evenly combined. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped cherries, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
