Description

Cranberry Raisin Walnut Cinnamon Artisan Bread is a delicious and easy-to-make bread featuring the sweet and tart flavors of cranberries and raisins, combined with crunchy walnuts and warm cinnamon.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1½ cups room-temperature water
  • 23 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 3 cups bread flour or all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¾ cup dried cranberries
  • ½¾ cup raisins
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Stir water and honey together, sprinkle yeast on top, and let rest until foamy.
  2. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Mix wet and dry ingredients until the mixture is shaggy.
  4. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise for 8–10 hours.
  5. Shape the dough and refrigerate overnight.
  6. Preheat a Dutch oven to 450°F (232°C).
  7. Score the dough and bake covered for 30 minutes.
  8. Uncover and bake for an additional 15–20 minutes.
  9. Cool the bread before slicing.

Notes

  • For added sweetness, you can increase the amount of honey.
  • Make sure the yeast is fresh for best results.
