- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sliced fresh jalapeños
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Combine granulated sugar and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar is fully dissolved.
- Add fresh cranberries and sliced jalapeños to the saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, allowing cranberries to burst.
- Stir in apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly to integrate all flavors.
- Continue to simmer the mixture for an additional 5 minutes to concentrate the flavors.
- Remove saucepan from heat and allow the mixture to cool to room temperature. Transfer contents to glass jars and seal tightly.
- Refrigerate jars for at least 24 hours before serving to allow flavors to fully develop.
