Description

Cranberry Jalapeño Cowboy Candy is a sweet and spicy delight that combines the tartness of fresh cranberries with the heat of jalapeños, creating a unique flavor experience.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sliced fresh jalapeños
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Combine granulated sugar and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar is fully dissolved.
  2. Add fresh cranberries and sliced jalapeños to the saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, allowing cranberries to burst.
  3. Stir in apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly to integrate all flavors.
  4. Continue to simmer the mixture for an additional 5 minutes to concentrate the flavors.
  5. Remove saucepan from heat and allow the mixture to cool to room temperature. Transfer contents to glass jars and seal tightly.
  6. Refrigerate jars for at least 24 hours before serving to allow flavors to fully develop.
