Description

These Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites are an irresistible mashup of two breakfast favorites. Soft, gooey cinnamon rolls are cubed, dunked in a rich egg mixture, and pan-fried until golden brown then served warm with powdered sugar and syrup or icing. Quick to make and even quicker to disappear!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing packet)

  • 2 large eggs

  • ¼ cup milk

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • Powdered sugar (optional, for serving)

  • Maple syrup or icing (from the cinnamon rolls, optional for serving)

Instructions

  1. Open the cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into quarters.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, and ground cinnamon.

  3. Add the cinnamon roll pieces to the bowl and gently toss to coat. Let sit for 1–2 minutes.

  4. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

  5. Add soaked cinnamon roll bites in batches and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  6. Transfer to a plate, dust with powdered sugar, and drizzle with maple syrup or the included icing. Serve warm!

Notes

  • You can use flavored coffee creamer in place of milk for a fun twist.

  • Serve with fresh fruit for a brunch-worthy spread.

  • For extra crisp edges, let the cinnamon bites sit an extra minute in the pan.
