Description

Deliciously rich and creamy chocolate truffles made with ricotta cheese that melt in your mouth.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup whole-milk ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate, melted
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, blend ricotta cheese with melted dark chocolate until smooth and fully incorporated.
  2. Place the mixture in the refrigerator and chill for 30 minutes until firm enough to shape.
  3. Using a spoon, scoop portions of the firm mixture and roll into balls approximately 2.5 cm (1 inch) in diameter.
  4. Roll each truffle in chopped almonds, pressing gently to coat evenly.

Notes

  • Ensure the chocolate is melted completely for a smooth mixture.
  • Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • For a different flavor, try rolling the truffles in cocoa powder or crushed nuts.
