These little bites of joy are not only delicious but also incredibly easy to make, even when the clock is ticking. Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Additional mini chocolate chips (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla extract and milk, mixing well.
  2. Gradually mix in the flour until a smooth dough forms, then stir in mini chocolate chips.
  3. Use a small cookie scoop or tablespoon to form dough into small balls. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 30 minutes.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips with vegetable oil in 30-second increments, stirring until smooth.
  5. Dip each chilled dough ball into the melted white chocolate, using a fork or toothpick to fully coat. Place back on the parchment paper.
  6. Sprinkle additional mini chocolate chips on top of each truffle before the coating sets.
  7. Let the truffles set at room temperature or in the fridge until firm.

Notes

  • Make sure the dough is thoroughly chilled before dipping in chocolate.
  • These truffles can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • Feel free to experiment with different types of chocolate for coating.
