Description

A comforting dish of chicken, gnocchi, and broccoli, baked with creamy Alfredo sauce and topped with melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 package shelf stable gnocchi
  • 2 cups frozen broccoli
  • 2 cups shredded/chopped cooked chicken
  • 1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 (15 ounce) jar Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional garnish)
  • Green onions (optional garnish)
  • Extra bacon (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Spray a casserole dish with non-stick baking spray.
  2. Cook the gnocchi according to package directions. Drain well.
  3. Gently stir together the cooked gnocchi, frozen broccoli, chicken, bacon, garlic, and Alfredo sauce until well combined.
  4. Spoon the mixture into the prepared casserole dish and sprinkle with mozzarella and Monterey Jack cheeses. Bake for 20 minutes.
  5. Broil for 1-2 minutes or until the cheese starts to brown. Keep a close eye on it as it will brown quickly.
  6. Top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese, green onions, and extra bacon if desired. Serve immediately.

  • Make sure to drain the gnocchi well to avoid excess moisture.
  • Feel free to add more vegetables or different types of cheese to suit your taste.
