Ingredients

- 1/2 cup dairy-free milk
- 2 teaspoons maple syrup, or more to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon almond extract, or to taste
- 3 tablespoons whole chia seeds
Instructions
- Puree the frozen cherries, dairy-free milk, maple syrup, and almond extract in a blender until smooth.
- Transfer the blended cherry mixture to a jar or airtight container and stir in the whole chia seeds thoroughly.
- Allow the mixture to sit for approximately 10 minutes, then stir well to disperse any clumps and ensure even hydration of chia seeds.
- Cover the container and refrigerate overnight or for several hours until a thick, pudding-like consistency develops.
- Before serving, stir the chia pudding well. Taste and adjust sweetness with additional maple syrup if preferred, then add desired toppings.
