Description

A delicious and healthy Cherry Chia Pudding Bowl that’s easy to make and great for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup frozen cherries
  • 1/2 cup dairy-free milk
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup, or more to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon almond extract, or to taste
  • 3 tablespoons whole chia seeds

Instructions

  1. Puree the frozen cherries, dairy-free milk, maple syrup, and almond extract in a blender until smooth.
  2. Transfer the blended cherry mixture to a jar or airtight container and stir in the whole chia seeds thoroughly.
  3. Allow the mixture to sit for approximately 10 minutes, then stir well to disperse any clumps and ensure even hydration of chia seeds.
  4. Cover the container and refrigerate overnight or for several hours until a thick, pudding-like consistency develops.
  5. Before serving, stir the chia pudding well. Taste and adjust sweetness with additional maple syrup if preferred, then add desired toppings.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute the frozen cherries with other fruits of your choice.
  • Adjust the level of sweetness according to your preference.
  • Serving with toppings like nuts, seeds, or fresh fruit can enhance flavor and texture.
