- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 1 tube Pillsbury Pizza Dough
- 5 colby jack and cheddar cheese sticks, halved
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Chopped jalapeños (optional)
- Black olives (optional)
- Chopped onions or bell peppers (optional)
- Fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat and add taco seasoning.
- Roll out the pizza dough and cut into 10 equal rectangles.
- Spoon a portion of the seasoned beef onto each rectangle, add a halved cheese stick, and roll the dough around the filling, sealing the edges.
- Place the taco sticks seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush with melted garlic butter and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Don’t rush the browning of the beef for better flavor.
- Seal the edges of the dough tightly to prevent leaking.
