Description

A delicious and gooey pull-apart bread infused with garlic and topped with melted mozzarella, perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium artisan loaf such as sourdough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Using a serrated knife, cut the loaf in a crosshatch pattern, slicing almost to the bottom but not all the way through.
  2. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
  3. Brush the garlic butter deep into all the cuts and surface crevices of the loaf.
  4. Gently stuff shredded mozzarella into the slits, ensuring even distribution.
  5. Place the assembled loaf on a baking tray, wrap it completely in foil, and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted.

Notes

  • This bread is best served warm.
  • Make sure to spoon extra butter over the top before serving for added flavor.
