Description

Delicious Cheesy Bacon Ranch Toast made with layers of cheese, crispy bacon, and ranch dressing, perfectly grilled to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 oz of Velveeta or Provolone, sliced
  • 6 oz of sharp cheddar, sliced
  • 8 pieces of Texas toast or thick brioche
  • 4 oz of sliced Monterey Jack cheese
  • A quarter cup of store-bought or homemade ranch dressing
  • 4 tablespoons of softened butter
  • 8 strips of crispy bacon
  • Caramelized onions (optional)
  • Sliced jalapeños (optional)

Instructions

  1. Set the cheeses out at room temperature for about 15 minutes before starting.
  2. Pop your bacon in a 400°F (200°C) oven for 15-20 minutes until it’s nice and crispy. Put it aside when done.
  3. Heat up a griddle or your biggest skillet on medium-low heat.
  4. Generously coat one side of every bread slice with butter.
  5. Lay bread butter-side down in the already heated skillet. Place layers of cheddar, Monterey Jack, and Provolone on half of the slices. Add 2 bacon strips on top of the cheese for each sandwich. Pour a little ranch dressing over the bacon and cheese stack. Finally, pop another bread slice on top, making sure the buttered side faces up.
  6. Cook sandwiches about 3-4 minutes on one side. Flip when golden and toasty, then repeat on the other side until cheese melts fully.
  7. Take sandwiches off the heat. Let them rest for about a minute, then slice diagonally. Serve right away while the cheese is gooey and warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding caramelized onions or sliced jalapeños.
  • Serve immediately for the best texture and taste.
