- 4 slices sandwich bread
- 4 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
- Unsalted butter, softened
Instructions
- Layer sliced mozzarella, tomato, and fresh basil leaves evenly between two slices of bread.
- Spread softened butter on the outer sides of each sandwich.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill sandwiches on each side for 2–3 minutes, or until golden and cheese is melted.
