Description
A delightful appetizer featuring creamy Brie cheese topped with sweet candied pecans and tangy cranberries, served on a pretzel stick for a festive touch.
Ingredients
Scale
- 225 grams Brie cheese wheel
- 60 millilitres honey
- 12 pretzel sticks
- 45 grams candied pecans
- 40 grams dried cranberries
- 15 grams fresh parsley
Instructions
- Slice the Brie wheel into 6 equal wedges, then halve each wedge horizontally to create 12 portions.
- Finely chop candied pecans, dried cranberries, and fresh parsley together until evenly blended.
- Cut each pretzel stick in half for a total of 24 halves. Insert one pretzel half into the base of each Brie portion to form a tree trunk.
- Dip the flat side of each Brie section into honey, ensuring an even coating.
- Press the honey-coated side of the Brie into the pecan, cranberry, and parsley blend to adhere the topping.
- Arrange finished bites on a platter and serve promptly.
Notes
- Make sure the Brie is at room temperature for easier slicing.
- You can substitute the pretzel sticks with crackers if preferred.
- These bites are best served fresh but can be prepared in advance and assembled just before serving.
