Description

A delightful appetizer featuring creamy Brie cheese topped with sweet candied pecans and tangy cranberries, served on a pretzel stick for a festive touch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 225 grams Brie cheese wheel
  • 60 millilitres honey
  • 12 pretzel sticks
  • 45 grams candied pecans
  • 40 grams dried cranberries
  • 15 grams fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Slice the Brie wheel into 6 equal wedges, then halve each wedge horizontally to create 12 portions.
  2. Finely chop candied pecans, dried cranberries, and fresh parsley together until evenly blended.
  3. Cut each pretzel stick in half for a total of 24 halves. Insert one pretzel half into the base of each Brie portion to form a tree trunk.
  4. Dip the flat side of each Brie section into honey, ensuring an even coating.
  5. Press the honey-coated side of the Brie into the pecan, cranberry, and parsley blend to adhere the topping.
  6. Arrange finished bites on a platter and serve promptly.

Notes

  • Make sure the Brie is at room temperature for easier slicing.
  • You can substitute the pretzel sticks with crackers if preferred.
  • These bites are best served fresh but can be prepared in advance and assembled just before serving.
