A flavorful twist on the classic grilled cheese with Cajun-seasoned shrimp and pepper jack cheese.

- 4 slices Texas toast
- 7 ounces cooked shrimp, Cajun-seasoned
- 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions
Instructions
- Sauté Cajun-seasoned shrimp in a skillet over medium heat until warmed through.
- Place Texas toast slices on a work surface. Distribute shrimp evenly over two slices and top with shredded pepper jack cheese and chopped green onions.
- Spread butter on the outer sides of each sandwich. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and grill sandwiches until the bread is golden brown and cheese has melted, about 3–4 minutes per side.
Notes
- Feel free to add more spices if you like your sandwich spicier.
- You can substitute the pepper jack cheese with another cheese of your choice.
